Welcome to Harrow Council's Consultation Portal which has been set up to allow on-line consultation for planning documents linked to the Local Development Framework (LDF). We encourage you to view planning consultation documents and comment on them on-line.
All consultation documents available (open) for you to comment on are listed below and in the table at the bottom of this page.
Core Strategy Consultation - The Council is currently preparing the Core Strategy (preferred option) development plan document. The Council will be consulting on this later in 2009. We thank all of you that took the time to respond to our earlier consultations on this document and look forward to your involvement in future consultation events.

Please Note:
- All consultation documents are interactive and once you have registered you can submit comments online. However, you do not need to register to view all the documents.
- Once registered, the Council will send you an email alert in connection with future consultations and how you can get involved.
- Text which has been deleted from planning documents is shown as
strikeout, with new text underlined.
How to Register
You must be registered or logged on to participate in all consultation events. To register, click on the 'Register' link within the 'Login' section on the left-hand side of the screen.
PLEASE NOTE: Ensure that you supply a correct and active email address when signing up. After finishing the registration process you will be sent an activation email. In order to activate your account you will need to click on the link within that email. The username and password you have provided will not work until this is done.
Once registered, you will be able to view and comment on the proposed wording of planning documents open for consultation.
Hard copies of all planning documents will be available for viewing at all local libraries and in the planning reception at the Civic Centre. Additionally, you can download all consultation documents in pdf format from the relevant section of this portal.
